90 minute run

I'd planned to do the Sunflowers to Roses bike ride this morning. I was still pretty wiped out after the baby jogger 5K yesterday and my cold hadn't totally gone away, but I was looking forward to a fun social ride.

Instead, I woke up to rain this morning. Lots of rain. So, no ride. A few hardcore cyclists will still do 60 or 70 miles in the rain, but I won't. I've tried it a few times, and it's never been even close to worth it.

I ended up getting donuts and playing with Will this morning which was nice also. He's become very mobile and very curious during the last couple of weeks, and he's much more fun to play with now.

I got in the 90 minute run from the half training schedule this afternoon. Technically, I should have done this run last weekend, but I'm not too concerned about that. As long as I get the mileage, I know I've done the training and that seems to help me a lot. It wasn't my best or most comfortable run because I'm still tired, but I held a fairly steady pace and my heart rate wasn't bad.

Tomorrow will be easy miles on the bike training in the morning and stretching and weights after work.
